RAC Finance (RACF) specialise in market leading finance products and services ranging from personal finance, secured notes and property finance loans. As the Senior Manager - Compliance, Product & Development, reporting direct to the General Manager you will play a crucial role to develop, refine and grow the product portfolio in line with relevant and emerging regulatory considerations. Key Responsibilities: Align leadership with RAC's purpose, vision, and mission Utilise industry knowledge to lead the strategic direction for product development, diversification, and implementation of new ideas Directly influence product direction and make proactive recommendations to enhance the existing product suite and identify growth opportunities Oversee the successful implementation of product modifications to maximize revenue and growth while ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks Work cross-functionally with stakeholders to address key product risk indicators to ensure smooth and compliant outcomes Ensure all the compliance obligations of the business are upheld and being pro-active to ensure changes and impacts to current policies and procedures are implemented Responsible for maintaining and promoting the overall positive compliance culture proactively Constant review of compliance policies and procedures to ensure they are updated as per regulators expectations Provide support to key stakeholders with compliance, training, product knowledge, and competitive market information. Develop and maintain strong working relationships with key internal & external stakeholders. Represent RACF with external industry and Financial Services regulators to provide proactive industry updates. Monitor and evaluate product performance to identify opportunities for profitability enhancement and cost reduction. Attributes and Skills: Extensive experience in senior leadership roles in either the financial services industry or a customer-focused organization (desirable) Significant experience in product and project development and management Experience with regulatory compliance in a Financial Services institution Extensive knowledge of existing regulatory legislation such as AML/CTF Proven ability to move beyond reactive approaches to think strategically to optimise pro-active opportunities. Ability to maintain cohesive processes and engaging effectively with stakeholders. Demonstrated ability to deliver projects and strategic plans on schedule. Ability to take people on a journey, effectively communicating and managing change. Strong time management skills, handling a meeting-heavy workload.
