The Opportunity
Are you an enthusiastic and detail-oriented individual with a passion for maintaining and enhancing the Quality and safety of services within the NDIS and Aged Care sectors? This is your chance to play a vital role in upholding the highest standards of care. As a Quality & Safeguards Officer, you'll contribute to compliance monitoring, conduct regular audits, and implement quality
improvement initiatives to ensure the well-being and rights of our clients. Dive into incident and complaints management, utilising your skills to investigate and report breaches of Quality and safety standards, all while maintaining accurate documentation and aiding in the preparation of essential reports. In this role, you will also have the opportunity to support staff through training programs, keeping them informed and prepared for industry updates and changes.

This position offers a dynamic environment where you can make a tangible impact by addressing client feedback, conducting audits, and collaborating with the Quality, Compliance, and Safeguarding Manager. Your Skills and Expertise
We are seeking a candidate with the following qualifications and attributes:

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline
  • 3+ years of previous experience in quality, risk, and compliance
  • In-depth knowledge of NDIS Quality Standards & Guidelines, Aged Care Quality Standards, National Principles – Child Safe Organisations Standards, and relevant legislation
  • Exceptional communication skills, including the ability to write technical documentation
  • Ability to build relationships and influence, coach, and train others to adhere to a quality management system
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Working knowledge and experience with Office 365 (SharePoint)
  • C Class drivers license
  • NDIS, Working with Children Check, Police clearance
