Purchasing Officer/ Inventory Controller

Role summary

Based at our new modern facility at Horsley Park, you will report to the Head of Demand, Supply & CCC to support the supply chain function. We are looking for an experienced purchasing officer with a strong background in inventory, purchasing, and cycle counts. Experience working with SAP ERP, within the manufacturing/warehousing industry will be highly regarded. This role offers global exposure as you collaborate across multiple Tennant locations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory Master File using SAP
• Review and action Freight requests (Ocean and Air)
• Raising and releasing Purchase orders on internal & external suppliers. 
• Report inventory discrepancies with Internal & External Suppliers 
• Code all Parts and Consumables vendor invoices with general ledger codes
• Schedule and conduct cycle count of Plants in ANZ
• Work with relevant manager to ensure that all auditing requirements are being met
• Schedule and conduct Stock-Take for all inventory locations in Australia and New Zealand

Criteria

• At least 3 years experience in a similar role within a manufacturing/warehouse environment 
• knowledge of Microsoft Suite of products 
• Strong ERP experience 
• Excellent planning and organisation skills 
• Attention to detail
• Ability to multi-task
• Excellent Communication skills
