Based at our National Store Support Centre, Amart's Head Office, we are looking for a Quality Assistant to join our team.
Responsibilities include:
- Assembling furniture
- Picking and packing spare parts orders
- Work with the quality team to ascertain key issues with products
- Regular manual handling and heavy lifting is a key component of the role
- Wrapping stock and loading trucks
- Key component of the role is spent on your feet to complete tasks
About you:
- To be successful in this role, you must be physically fit
- Mechanically & Technically minded (Advantageous)
- You will be reasonably confident in working with hand tools (drills, saws, etc.)
- You’ll enjoy working as part of a small team
- A strong desire to grow and learn at Amart Furniture as feedback is a gift and readily shared for your development
- Passionate about Safety and adhering to Amart Furniture’s Safety Policies, measures and protocols.
- Above all, you must have a can-do attitude and have a willingness to learn and grow
