We have a great opportunity available for a compliance focused person who is interested in joining the Quality Assurance team based at the Penrith manufacturing facility.
This position is responsible for management of the day-to-day disposition of incoming goods and release for supply of products that meet quality specifications and regulatory compliance. Although based in Penrith, this role requires regular travel to work at another site in Milperra.
Your key areas of accountability for this role include:
- Disposition of incoming goods (raw materials and packaging) and release for supply of finished product
- Management of assigned disposition systems
- Writing procedures
- Continuous improvement
- Compliance projects
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Good knowledge of quality principles and GMP
- Good writing skills
- Basic project management skills
- Able to work as part of a team and cross-functionally
- Problem solving abilities
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Basic risk management skills
- Ability to adhere to procedures and deadlines
In addition, your ability to analyse problems and situations, along with you excellent planning skills will be highly regarded. A tertiary qualification in science and/or quality management will go a long way to helping you in this role. A certificate in Quality Auditing is desirable.
