About the role:
We are currently looking for a Quality Assurance Associate to join our team based at Eastern Creek. This important role will work closely with the QA/RA Manager to coordinate and manage Quality Assurance activities. This is an ideal opportunity for a motivated candidate with a background in Quality Assurance who is looking to grow their career and step up to the next level.
As the Quality Assurance Associate, you will:
- Take ownership of Quality Assurance activities and develop and implement Quality Assurance plans, systems and procedures.
- Implement and monitor complaints and corrective actions to ensure effective resolution and risk management.
- Monitor quality processes and procedures across the business supporting all users with expert advice and guidance.
- Coordinate and conduct internal quality audits and contribute to internal projects and continuous improvement activities.
- Collaborate with test laboratories to develop and approve validation protocols, studies, and their revalidations.
- Respond to enquiries from local, regional or global stakeholders and provide advice and training on quality requirements and systems.
- Provide training and support on Quality Assurance processes and systems to ensure best practice is followed across the business.
- Ensure effective document management systems are implemented and maintained.
- Provide advice and direction in relation to Quality Assurance identifying opportunities for improvement and implementation of innovative strategies.
- Support external audits by the TGA and third-party auditors and respond to audit findings as required.
- Perform supplier monitoring activities to ensure conformance to procedures and requirements specified in supplier Quality Agreements.
- Support the RA/QA team across both Quality Assurance and regulatory ensuring internal and external customer needs are addressed and professional service is provided.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications.
- Previous experience in a Quality Assurance role within the medical consumables/devices industry.
- A strong knowledge and understanding of Quality Assurance requirements related to medical consumables and devices.
- A thorough understanding of Quality Assurance practices, guidelines and policies relating to medical consumables/devices.
- Ability to coordinate projects and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to communicate with a diverse range of people in a warm, friendly and helpful manner.
- Independent, resilient, self-motivated, flexible with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Results driven with proven skills in problem solving, innovation and critical thinking.
- Effective and efficient time management and organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and pivot to meet business needs and tight deadlines.
- A team player who can work collaboratively and follow complex instructions and processes.
- Strong emotional intelligence and relationship building skills with stakeholders, both internal and external to the business.
- A high level of proficiency in spoken and written English.

- High level of PC and MS Office skills.
