ABOUT THE ROLE
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Quality Assurance Controller to join our modern and expanding manufacturing facilities. You will be part of an energetic and dynamic work environment to develop your career in a supportive and progressive environment - all geared to ensure we produce, pack and distribute high-quality alcoholic and non-alcoholic products.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
- Apply all operational, safety and security practices and procedures
- Uphold and maintain Quality Assurance processes and procedures
- Apply relevant instructions and procedures in relation to food safety standards
- Prepare Quality Assurance documentation for each production run
- Verify Clean-in-Place documentation in compliance with product specifications
- Apply Quality Assurance processes to customer product specifications
- Participate in, and support QA and HACCP training and audits
- Ensure strong relationships with external regulators
- Undertake and maintain checks of equipment calibration and verification against standards
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
To be successful in this role you will have:
- +3yrs food manufacturing background, preferred
- HACCP certification and/or FSSC2200 training, preferred
- Tertiary Qualification: Food Science or Microbiology Diploma, preferred
- Analytical and Process orientated and system savvy including proficiency in MS office tools to analyse and present data
- Enhanced communication and influencing ability to engage key internal and external stakeholders
- Disciplined Planning and Prioritising skills to effectively manage time and resources
- Attention to detail
- Willingness to spend majority of the day in Production areas coaching or checking QA documentation and practices
The role is primarily working day shift, with some flexibility and a willingness to participate in shiftwork from time to time.
