- Start ASAP
- 2-month contract with full-time working hours
- Assist with an upcoming audit
- Daily execution and coordination of the company’s Quality & Food Management System
- You'll be reporting to the Quality Assurance Lead
- Drive, maintain, coordinate, and monitor the sites Food Safety & Quality Program
- Ensure compliance with and effectiveness of the food safety program, including all prerequisite programs, CCPs, QCPs & RCPs
- Ensure on an ongoing basis that all staff comply with the company’s hygiene and GMP standards.
- Coordinate with key stakeholders to discuss/present food safety and quality standards/issues.
- Implement and maintain compliance at the highest level with all applicable regulatory and customer standards e.g. HACCP, BRC, CFMSR, WQA
- Conduct GMP & Internal audits.
- Facilitate external audits and participate as required.
- Proactively work with all team members
- Actively maintain the QA database and filing systems to always ensure their completeness and accuracy.
- Ensure the timely reporting of the status of all CARs and, in accordance with defined rectification timelines.
- Ensure that QA and QC records are maintained in an accurate and timely basis so any customer complaints or legal issues can be appropriately addressed.
- Formal qualifications in Food Science or a related discipline are desirable.
- 3-5 years’ experience with a food manufacturing organization
- BSI audit experience desirable
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of HACCP principles, Food Safety and Quality Assurance
- Ability to work with a down-to-earth team culture with a hands-on attitude.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Suite
