We are currently seeking an experienced Quality Assurance professional for a leading Precast Concrete Manufacturer in Sydney. As the Quality Assurance Manager, you will play a critical role in maintaining and improving the quality of our precast concrete products. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing quality control systems and processes to ensure that our products meet customer specifications, regulatory requirements, and internal standards. Working closely with production teams, engineers, and project managers, you will identify areas for improvement, implement corrective actions, and drive continuous quality improvement initiatives throughout the organization ensuring strict adherence to pre pour and post pour quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement quality control procedures and protocols for all stages of precast concrete manufacturing, from raw material inspection to final product testing.
- Establish and maintain Quality Assurance standards, specifications, and documentation in compliance with industry regulations and customer requirements.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections of production processes, equipment, and facilities to identify deviations, defects, and opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with engineering, design, and production teams to resolve quality issues, optimize processes, and enhance product performance.
- Lead and train Quality Assurance personnel to ensure adherence to quality standards, best practices, and safety protocols.
- Monitor and analyse quality metrics, trends, and performance indicators to assess the effectiveness of quality control measures and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, customers, and suppliers regarding quality-related issues, concerns, and initiatives.
- Stay informed about industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes affecting precast concrete manufacturing and Quality Assurance practices.
- Certificate IV in Frontline Management, or equivalent.
- 5+ years’ experience in a production leadership role at a precast concrete
manufacturing facility. - Knowledge and understanding of precast concrete manufacture.
- Demonstrated experience working with Environment, Health and Safety and Quality
management system/s. - Understanding of maintenance requirements.
- Knowledge of business and management principles involved in resource allocation,
production and manufacture methods, and coordination of people and resources. - Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
