QA Officer - Carole Park - Mid Shift 10:00am to 6:00pm

An excellent opportunity currently exists for a QA Officer to join the Comgroup Quality team at Carole Park on a full-time basis. You will be working as part of a supportive and motivated team providing support throughout the day. Reporting to the Quality Assurance Team Manager, responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to the following:
- Monitor performance of hygiene, GMP, food safety, and plant standards on a continuous basis.
- Strong knowledge of food processing, and compliance within the meat industry.
- Attention to detail.
- Provide corrective feedback where required.
- Complete QA testing on finished products.
- Collect and record data according to HACCP and Quality System.
- Conduct quality audits in a methodical and detailed manner to verify that the organisations' food safety program is complied with at all times.
- Great communication skills with the ability to manage upwards.
To be successful in this position you must possess the following:
- Ability to work an Afternoon Shift.
- Experience in a similar role or be able to demonstrate good working knowledge in food safety and/or quality.
- Experience in the meat industry will be highly regarded
- Internal or Customer audit experience
- Self-motivated and a quick learner
- Team player, with the ability to work unsupervised
- Well-developed interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
