We are currently seeking a suitably experienced and motivated Quality Assurance Officer to join our team.
As a QA Officer at Upton Engineering and Manufacturing, you will lead the quality function across the facility and drive all quality initiatives as we grow. You will be responsible for the facility’s Quality Management System (QMS) to meet the relevant Standards and customer requirements as well as for continuous improvement initiatives.
The Key Responsibilities will include:
- Conduct Quality audits
- Manage and control quality records in compliance with AS9100
- Track, analyse and report performance against key Quality metrics
- Provide staff training with defined processes and adequate resourcing including performance feedback to ensure inspections occur on time and to the required standard.
- Review all issues captured and raise NCR’S - Implement corrective actions with relevant parties to highlight the issue and resolve.
- Work collaboratively and in conjunction with the company’s senior management in the development, implementation, maintenance, and continual improvement of the company’s Quality Management System including procedures, policies, and work methods.
The Skills and Attributes preferred are:
- Experience in a previous Quality Officer or similar role, 2-3 years beneficial
- Experience in organisational standards.
- Demonstrated knowledge of quality management principles and techniques
- Auditing Skills and/or qualifications
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Have the ability and confidence to engage and influence others to ensure adherence and compliance with document control and management requirements in a consultative manner.
- Competent computer skills
