Quality Assurance (QA) and Compliance Manager – Narrabundah, ACT 

  • Fundamental position with a leading Not-For-Profit Community Services Provider 
  • Lead the Quality and Compliance functions supporting Senior Leadership Team
  • Narrabundah location with onsite free parking

Community Services #1 is seeking a Quality Assurance (QA) and Compliance Manager to support a continuous performance improvement program and to review and strengthen CS#1’s compliance systems and practices, across our programs in Aged Care and Early Education. 

About the role:

Reporting to the Executive Director of Community Services, the Quality Assuranceand Compliance Manager is responsible for leading continuous improvement, ensure compliance and ongoing accreditation with state and federal legislation, establish and review policies and contribute to quality improvements frameworks, goals and principles.

The role will oversee all aspects of Quality Assuranceand Compliance with a strategic focus to proactively identify and manage risks.

The successful applicant will develop, implement, and evaluate internal compliance programs ensuring they are fit-for-purpose and cyclic throughout the year reporting on gaps, trends, and risks.

To be successful in this role:

You will be proactive and attentive, with knowledge and experience in quality and Compliance particularly within the community sector. Aged Care and Early Education Services, and Audit experience would be a significant advantage. 

You will have:

  • Diploma or bachelor’s degree in a related field, or relevant experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • National Police Check
  • ACT Working with Vulnerable People Card.
  • Working with Children Check.
  • Current Driver Licence
  • Effective research and report writing skills, including the ability to provide complex compliance written advice.
  • Workplace Health and Safety experience.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.

Quality Assuranceand Compliance Manager rewards:

  • Permanent position (FT/PT can be negotiated) based in Narrabundah, with travel across the ACT and surrounds. This can include the Riverina and Southern NSW areas. 
  • Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award 2010 – Level 6
  • Hourly Salary range of $51.90 - $54.19 commensurate with qualifications, skills and knowledge
