Offering sustainable packaging solutions for a number of different industries with a significant focus on continuous improvement, lean manufacturing and health and safety, they are looking for a Quality Assurance professional to join their growing team in Sydney’s North West.
This fast-paced role will see you working closely with the Quality Manager, implementing positive changes across the business in compliance with relevant standards as well as conducting internal and external audits to meet regulatory requirements.
The Job:
- Leading the Quality and CI agenda within the production facility.
- Focusing on the implementation of Continuous Process Improvement initiatives to effect greater plant performance.
- Managing Quality Assurance programs
- Conduct internal and external audits to identify and manage continuous improvement requirements
- Training of personnel in Quality related matters
- Improving organisation effectiveness and driving a performance culture
- Investigate consumer/customer complaints, report on findings, and identify emerging trends
- Monitoring of production safety, HACCP and quality procedures
- Investigation, documentation and implementation of corrective and preventive actions from quality non-conformances, safety hazards or incidents
About You:
- Relevant Degree or tertiary qualification
- 5 years’ + experience in quality related roles across manufacturing
- Proven experience leading internal or external quality audits
- Good understanding of Food Safety and ISO standards in Australia
- Experience working with ERP or MRP system
- Excellent MS Office skills
Salary & Benefits:
Our client offers competitive remuneration packages, which vary with regards to experience, $85,000 to $95,000 + Super.
