Quality Controller

Our client is a leading manufacturer specializing in security screen systems and complementary products. They are currently seeking an experienced Quality Controller to join their team on permanent basis in Sunnybank Hills!

This role is ongoing, Monday to Friday, with shift times from 2PM - 10:00PM Approx.

About the Role

Oversee, implement, and maintain quality control processes to ensure product reliability and compliance with industry standards. Promote and uphold a strong safety culture and environment, ensuring all products meet company and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain quality control procedures and systems to ensure product integrity.
• Inspect and test materials, equipment, processes, and products to ensure quality specifications are met.
• Collaborate with production teams to identify and resolve quality issues.
• Manage the calibration and maintenance of quality testing equipment.
• Generate and review quality reports, statistical reviews, and relevant documentation to ensure continuous improvement in the quality process.
• Lead quality audits and implement corrective actions as required.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and practices.
• Participate in product development meetings to provide input on quality standards and expectations.
• Coordinate with suppliers and external quality assurance auditors to maintain quality standards across the supply chain.

The successful applicant will possess the following skills:

• Minimum of one year experience in a Quality Control role within a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of quality control standards and methodologies relevant to the manufacturing industry.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to manage time, meet deadlines, and prioritize tasks.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively both in a team and independently.
• High level of commitment, integrity, and a proactive, self-motivated approach to work.
• Forklift license is desirable but not essential.
• Own car and driving license is essential
