Following exciting growth plans, we are looking for a Quality Controller to join our Carole Park team.
About the role:
Reporting to the Manufacturing Supervisor, the primary responsibility of the Quality Controller at Breathesafe will be ensure our kits meet compliance requirements prior to leaving the facility for installation. The Quality Controller plays a critical role in upholding product quality standards, minimising defects and ensuring delays in installation are limited.
To be considered a suitable Quality Controller, you must be confident in the below:
- Conducting thorough inspections of kits to ensure compliance requirements are met and kits are complete
- Maintaining detailed records of quality control activities including any corrective actions needed
- Interpreting technical documents such as diagrams, schematics, PDF’s or other verbal or written instructions
- Liaising with other members of the line or group to make amendments
- Collaborating with other team members to identify opportunities for improvements
- Participating in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the overall quality management system and drive organisational excellence
- Assisting with additional general warehouse duties as required.
BreatheSafe Hours of Work
- 5.30am – 2.45pm Monday to Thursday
- 5.30am – 11.30am Friday
- Every second Friday off (long weekend)
About you:
This position is ideally suited to someone who has:
- Previous experience in quality control or quality assurance, preferably in Manufacturing
- Strong understanding of quality management systems, such as ISO 9001
- Experience with quality control tools and techniques, such as statistical process control or Lean principles, is a plus.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Manual Drivers Licence (preferred)
