Job Title: MTS Events Administrator
Job Type: Permanent Part Time – 30 hours per week
Location: Level 5, 34 Macmahon St, Hurstville, NSW (Remote possibilities 1 day per week)
Reports To: MTS Training and Events Coordinator
Hours of Work: Office hours are 9:00am to 5.00pm, although flexibility will be important in the role.
Remuneration: Salary commensurable with experience

MTS is a multidenominational evangelical organisation that, under God, is seeking to change the world. MTS multiplies Gospel Workers through ministry apprenticeships. MTS has trained over 3,500 apprentices since 1978 and wants to accelerate the pace. Our events are mission critical to recruiting Gospel workers.

About the role
We need someone who is relational, motivated and excels at event administration to assist with the running of MTS Events.
As such the role involves the following:
Assisting with the logistics of events in many and varied ways, such as:
– liaising with venues and speakers, creation of conference booklets, preparing slides for events, video editing etc.
Events marketing and communication which includes;
– Creation of marketing material, organising photos to be taken at events, etc.
Volunteer Team building and oversight through:
– promotion of volunteering at MTS and enabling of volunteers, keeping the MTS database current, and creating teams for specific events, etc.
About you
We are looking for someone who:
Ascent to the MTS Conviction Statement ( https://mts.com.au/about/mts-convictions-statement/ )
A mature Christian faith and active service in a Christian church
Is humble and Gospel astonished, that Christ would die for them (1 Peter 3:18)
Is thoroughly committed to living out the great commission (Matthew 28:18-20)
Loves working in a team and is an encourager by nature
Is a highly organised person who is able to complete tasks ahead of time.
A high proficiency in computer skills (including using cloud-based storage, systems, Facebook
content and learning new applications).
Proficiency in Google Drive software, MS Office and MS Word.
