We are looking for an experienced Quality Controller to join the Production and Service’s team at our Naval Base facility. This position is will be a combined workshop and office based role. The position will be reporting through to the Workshop Supervisor and Project Manager.
Key responsibilities include: -
- Perform final inspections on all manufacturing components to ensure compliance with industry standards and specifications
- Identify any defects, or non-conformances and take corrective action as required
- Ensuring that welds are free from defects and adhere to drawing specifications
- Raise Non-Conformance reports for parts that fail QC inspection.
- ITP and MDR reporting experience essential
Qualifications and Experience required:
- Trade qualification in Fabrication and experience working in a manufacturing environment or mining related industry
- Proven experience in a similar role
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Ability to work autonomously
- Willingness to work additional hours to meet the demands of the role
