Working in our Quality team this exciting opportunity as Quality Coordinator is hands-on and technically focused. You will be responsible for ensuring all activities and tasks are carried out in line with set standards that allow for continuity of Production, Quality and Safety compliance.
What you’ll be responsible for:
- Working collaboratively with stakeholders to ensure continuous improvement of quality processes, support audits, ensure compliance.
- Assist QA management to drive site GMP compliance and improvement.
- Provide, develop and conduct training programs in food safety and quality processes.
- Conducting internal and external audits
- Conduct HACCP reviews
- Managing non-complying finished product and raw materials.
- Investigate consumer complaints and report finding.
- Review and update Standard Operating Procedures
- Assisting the production team with technical support and compliance
- Supporting product development trials and new product launches.
- Act as the QA Supervisor during annual and unplanned leave
- Analysing and trend production data to assist in troubleshooting and solving manufacturing / quality issues.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Nutrition or other related fields will be highly regarded
- HACCP Principles and Applications training
- Minimum 2 years quality experience – Extra tick if in FMCG
- Strong experience in internal and external auditing processes and training
- Strong understanding in Quality Systems
- Excellent presentation, communication, and relationship building skills
- Exceptional organisational, time management and planning skills
