We are currently looking for a Quality Lead to join our WA Site Team
The role of a Quality Lead is to provide support, advice, and expertise to ensure KBR Quality Management are implemented effectively and efficiently at the WA Site.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead QA/QC activities at the Site and act as the focal point for the quality related matters.
Implement effective, risk-based Quality Management & Assurance arrangements.
Implement quality assurance activities as per project plans, processes, and procedures effectively and efficiently.
Achieve and report satisfactory results and predictable outcomes from planned activities.
Lead and manage the quality team resources at the Site.
Liaise and interface with client quality representatives in Perth and at the Site.
Work closely with the contractor to fully understand quality requirements to provide a service/product that ultimately meets or exceeds project expectations.
Support and participate in quality management initiatives and deliverables on time and within budget.
Coordinate Site Surveillance Program, effective quality management, inspection, validation, and verification to provide assurance.
Ensure definition, planning, and coordination of quality related activities.
Support effective management of audit and review program.
Regularly attend meetings and reports to the Quality Director.
Lead NCR investigations and root cause analysis on project quality anomalies.
Conduct audits and verifications at the Site as per the project audit program.
Manage & coordinate the site 2nd party service providers inspection activities and review received inspection reports.
Promote HSSE and Quality Culture within KBR and External interaction parties.
Applicants must hold current Australian work rights. The role will commence in our Perth KBR office and will transition to site later in 2024.
What you will need to succeed Â
As an individual you will have a natural ability to problem solve, be solutions orientated and have excellent organisational and time management skills.
In addition, you will have the following:
Demonstrable aptitude for quality and quality management and has quality management discipline experience in the oil & gas industry.
International Certificated (IRCA) Lead Auditor Training course current (or past auditing experience will be considered).
Demonstrable knowledge of site quality management (oil & gas sector).
Demonstrable knowledge of Construction risk & risk management in the context of quality.
Ability to promote collaboration relationships is essential.
Demonstrable essential experience in a construction Quality Lead role.
Demonstrable knowledge of Contracts, project engineering and construction.
