Your new role
As the Project Manager, you will report to the Program Manager assisting in the management of 2 very significant programs of work including Mobile Workforce and Digital Workforce being undertaken by SAPOL IS&T. It will be critical that you have previous experience working at a portfolio level to ensure you have the holistic portfolio overview.
You will be responsible for managing large, complex and technical IT solutions across multiple significant projects and assigning project resources. You will build strong relationships with SAPOL project sponsors, business SMEs and suppliers.
It is an exciting opportunity to be a part of this portfolio and you will play a vital role in supporting the Director to ensure a smooth delivery of the work alongside project officers, managers and team members.
What you'll need to succeed
- Extensive Project Management experience
- Exposure within a multi-year program is desirable
- Experience with M365 suite implementation would be highly regarded
- Experience in Project Management methodologies (ie Prince2, PMBoK)
- Strong stakeholder engagement and management skills
- Prior experience within SA Government is desirable
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- The ability to work across multiple project management methodologies
Salary
ASO8 $119,317 to $123,822 per annum plus super.
