This role ensure high quality outcomes for children by coaching and leading our Nominated Supervisors and their teams on how to embed and maintain a culture of quality, innovation, and continuous improvement, in alignment with the National Quality Standards. There will be a key focus is on Assessment and Rating.
Who is Catholic Early EdCare?
Catholic Early EdCare (CEEC) is the early education provider of the Catholic Archdiocese of Brisbane. In 2019 all of Centacare Child Care Services centres across South-East Queensland were re-branded as Catholic Early EdCare. Centacare Child Care Services had been providing early education and care for over 14 years.
Across over 130 services we work with families to watch their children grow from six weeks to high school aged. As a faith-based organisation we recognise the value of diversity and welcome all families within our community. We work with Brisbane Catholic Education, local schools and parishes to provide child care services, including long day care, kindergarten and outside school hours care to meet the needs of our local communities. Qualifications/ Knowledge/ Work Experience
- Ability to analyse data and use strategic coaching of nominated supervisors on the preparation and management of the Assessment and Rating process at a local level.
- Degree qualifications in Education or related discipline or significant relevant senior leader experience in childcare and or education settings of at least five years.
- High level understanding, familiarity and experience in the application of the Education and Care Legislation, Regulations and Quality Frameworks.
- Significant experience and capability to develop working relationships with a wide range of informal and internal and external stakeholders.
- Experienced senior leader with the ability to contribute thought. leadership and innovation associated with education, pedagogy and practice, that is executable and aligned with overarching organisational objectives, while empowering service autonomy.
- Project management experience.
- Experience in mentoring, coaching and training staff
- Strong demonstrated digital competencies i.e. Microsoft Office
- Valid Australian Driver Licence
- Working with Children Check
- Criminal History clearance
