About the Role

The Quality Manager for QLD & NT will provide technical assurance support to the project and regional functional teams through the development and implementation of regional quality assurance programme to ensure statutory and contractual compliance with quality requirements across projects.

Responsibilities of the role include
  • Lead and manage the organizational Quality Management System and initiatives across the Business Unit and report progress to the State Operations Manager and BU Operations Quality Manager
  • Provide guidance and support to the Project Leadership Teams to develop and maintain a quality performance and culture that drives business improvement
  • Identify, manage and monitor quality objectives, requirements, risks and other issues that may adversely impact the surety of successful project delivery
  • Ensure that the projects conform with ISO and AS/NZS regulatory and legal requirements
  • Proactively engage with the project teams and facilitate regional quality communications as required by the BU OQM
What we are looking for;
  • Advanced Diploma or Lead Auditor Qualification in Engineering, Science, Building, Construction, Quality Management or Project Management
  • 3-5 years' experience in a quality management role within the construction industry
  • 5-10 years engineering and coordination
  • Experience in developing and managing project QA management systems
  • Experience with Risk and Audit Management Practices
