The Position
Fantastic opportunity for a full-time Quality Partner to join our awesome team. This job will be Monday to Friday, based at our Huonville smoked salmon processing factory.
This role will support our quality culture journey, which ensures products will comply with established specifications of quality and food safety and exceed our customers’ expectations. Partnering with production and other relevant areas of the business to provide the tools and support to enable production teams to enhance product outcomes.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Working in a quality-focused culture that ensures not only product quality and safety but also customer satisfaction
- Ensuring product conforms to quality assurance and HACCP requirements, early intervention and rectification should non-conformance arise
- Supporting production teams and other relevant teams in identifying quality issues
- Ensuring verification activities are completed to schedule
- Participating in internal and external audits, HACCP audits and reviews
About you
We are after someone who works hard, loves what they do and has a little fun along the way. In addition, you will have:
- Self-motivation and great attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Good problem solving skills and a pragmatic approach
- Highly organised and maintain schedules and conduct activities to schedule
- Experience in a food related or quality related role (desirable)
- Experience in HACCP and RTE food processing (desirable)
