Quality Supervisorto join our
Afternoon Shift from 2pm - 10pmat our new
Orchard Hillsstate of the art site.
Working in our Quality Team this role will be responsible for the delivery of quality assurance systems, programs and initiatives to ensure we are achieving successful business outcomes and compliance to the Food Safety & Quality Systems for our products manufactured at site. The role will be the lead in Quality for the Afternoon Shift 2pm – 10pm
What you’ll be responsible for:
- Implement the quality function to ensure that products and processes are in compliance with Snack Brands’ documented requirements, systems and specifications.
- Leading and Coaching the team to be the best we can be through continuous improvement!
- Supporting the Operations team and be the first point of contact for resolution and queries with all things QA
- Supporting our Quality Management systems and provide recommendations for improvement • Supporting Internal and External Audits and staying abreast of compliance
- Implement and maintain quality at source programs to ensure all products, raw materials, processes and services meet Snack Brands quality standards. • New Product launches from start to end – Design and Develop Quality Documentation and Training that comes with this including work instructions, inspection and sampling reports Perform product sampling plans and process inspections throughout the development and production process to ensure consistent quality, and to meet operational and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct consumer complaint investigations and reporting on findings to the Operations team.
What you’ll bring to the role?
- Ideally 2+ years of proven relevant experience
- Experience in managing a team
- Qualified with a relevant qualification (ie: Food Science, Science)
- Innovative – You will be open to sharing your new ideas
- Experience in HACCP
- Experience in Internal Auditing
- Exceptional organisational, time management and planning skills
- Accountability – You will own what you say you will do!
- Strong ability to adapt to change during our transition
