Dishan Constructions are a fully licensed builder that specialises in custom residential homes, property development, project management and custom home design. We service South East Queensland. We combine the skill of a builder, the expertise of an architect, and the capability of an interior designer to bring clients’ home to life. Collectively, our team of professionals have decades of building and design experience. We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team in project tendering, organizing and management.
Quantity Surveyor Required
Responsibilities
- Preparing full tender packs for submission which includes scheduling of the works and project documentation
- Preparation of detailed cost proposals from design development briefs for budget planning
- Review and assessment of construction plans and addendums for technical suitability and cost variations.
- Coordinating with Architects, Engineers, and Project Managers throughout the construction process.
- Establishing and executing building contracts and negotiating contracts particulars.
- Co-ordinating consultant assessments to suit regulatory requirements.
- Assist the project team in preparation of variations, progress claims and assessment of subcontractor claims and issuing payment certificates
- Working closely with management on preparation of monthly forecasts
Skills required:
- RICS accredited Degree qualified in construction management/quantity surveying.
- Minimum 2 years experience working in the construction industry with local experience preferred.
- Experience with job profitability and payment claims
- Experience compiling and adhering to strict budgets
- Candidates need to be eligible to work in Australia
- Ability to read and navigate plans, specifications, and tender documents.
- The ability to work autonomously, with a consultative work style
This is a full-time position. The salary on offer is $70,000 - $80,000 plus super depending on experience.
