Are you an experienced Quantity Surveyor seeking a long temp contract on a large-scale renewables project? This is your chance to make a significant impact on the future of energy, working on an 8/6 roster(some flexibility offered) for a 12–18-month contract in Collie.Responsibilities:
- Working closely with project teams, clients, and stakeholders, you will ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
- Conduct detailed cost estimates and provide accurate cost planning throughout project lifecycle
- Perform comprehensive measurement of project elements and quantities
- Analyse project specifications and contractual requirements to identify potential risks and opportunities
- Collaborate with project teams to develop cost-effective solutions and value engineering strategies
- Prepare and negotiate contractual agreements, variations, and claims
- Monitor project progress and financial performance, identifying deviations and implementing corrective actions as necessary
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, particularly in large-scale energy construction projects
- Strong technical proficiency in measurement techniques, cost estimation, and contract administration
- Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to achieve favourable outcomes in complex contractual situations
- Results-driven mindset with a focus on delivering high-quality outcomes on time and within budget
- Professional accreditation (e.g., MRICS) preferred but not required.
