About the Role
SEE Group have a great career opportunity available for a Quarry Administrator to join our Quarry Team in Tenterfield, NSW.
You will be responsible for providing the on-site administrative support to the Quarry Manager, supporting the day to day administrative and financial processes of the Quarry. This role will see you providing support through the development, monitoring and maintenance of processes, procedures and policies and performing other ad-hoc administrative duties as required.
This is a valuable opportunity to learn and develop your skills and knowledge across a diverse range of disciplines backed with the support and training from SEE Group’s technical experts.
This is a local full-time role based in Tenterfield, NSW and would suit someone who is self-motivated, enjoys challenging work and has a commitment to continuous improvement.
Responsibilities will include:
- Processing trucks through the weighbridge using an electronic system
- Processing of sales orders and the allocation of transport vehicles
- Raising of purchase orders and setting up new vendors
- Coding and receipting of invoices / dockets
- Maintenance of various site registers and updating of systems as required
- Assist the Quarry Manager in preparing financial reports by ensuring all costs and accruals are accounted for.
- Serve as the point of contact for customers through phone, email and walk-ins
- Work closely with Accounts Payable and site teams to ensure the 'Procure to Pay' process runs effectively.
- Other ad hoc administration duties relating to the operation of the Quarry may be required.
Skills and Attributes
- Previous administration experience, desirable to have accounting payable/receivable experience
- High level of attention to detail
- High level of customer service skills
- Highly effective skills in coordinating administration functions
- Previous experience working with Microsoft Outlook and Excel
- Demonstrated experience managing multiple tasks and maintaining focus on priorities
- Good communication skills and the ability to work autonomously and be a self starter
- Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships
- Highly effective planning, organising and problem-solving skills
