You’ll have a fulfilling & rewarding career working with us, and you’ll contribute to a sustainable future we can all be proud of.What’s on offer?Due to growth in our Infrastructure Services business, we are currently looking for a full-time Quarry Operator to join Fulton Hogan’s Blue Rock Quarry.Reporting to the Quarry Supervisor, the Quarry Operator will be responsible for a range of tasks and will be a reliable and strong team player. We are looking for someone who enjoys a hands-on role and working outdoors. Previous Quarry Operation experience is preferred but not essential. Outstanding candidates with a positive attitude and willingness to learn will also be strongly considered.The team primarily operates Monday to Friday, with some Saturday work required. Duties also include but are not limited to:
- Operating fixed & mobile quarry crushing equipment and mobile plant
- Conducting repairs and maintenance on equipment and plant as required
- Compliance with all Fulton Hogan Safety, Environmental and Quality standards and targets
- Experience on fixed & mobile quarry crushing equipment and mobile plant preferred but not essential; holding current ticket/licences
- Possess the skills to undertake plant repairs and maintenance preferred but not essential
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- A positive attitude to safety that delivers a zero harm environment.
- Be available to work Saturdays
