QUARRY  SUPERVISOR– Black River Quarry

• Can you lead and motivate a small team of quarry workers and sub-contractors to work safely, productively, make sensible decisions and participate as a team to get the best efficiencies out of the quarry resource and the quarry equipment?
• Are you safety conscious and confident to contribute to a positive safety culture, ensuring procedures are followed and documented?
• Do you always strive to improve the production process and the quality of materials produced?
• Do you possess a sound mechanical aptitude?
• Have you a mechanical trade background?
• This position is a hands-on role, requiring a lead-by-example approach and the ability to prioritise and understand timeframes and deadlines.
• Can you plan and carry out maintenance, manage employees' hours and strive to keep costs down?
• Have you had greater than 5 years hands-on experience working in a quarry and have obtained certification on different types of plant and equipment, health and safety and risk management systems and understand TMR quarry product specifications?
• Do you have Cert IV or a Diploma in Surface Extraction Operations/Management?
• Do you have experience in crushing and screening plants and possess geological understanding?
• Do you have the ability to understand anticipated future production requirements and plan accordingly?
