AddressThe Sky News Queensland Chief of Staff will drive the news agenda and coordinate assignments for our team of reporters and camera crews in Queensland. This role will have a particular focus on leading and coordinating our news content for the State and Federal elections This is a 12 month contract. Key Responsibilities Planning and resourcing coverage of Queensland news events in consultation with the Newsgathering Editor and Head of News. Liaising with Sky News and Queensland News Corp Editors / Publicity to generate cross-platform content. Leading Queensland based staff and overseeing rostering arrangements. Ensuring content meets legal requirements and legal advice is passed on to relevant editorial staff. Ensuring editorial staff comply with WHS requirements during breaking news and special coverage. Ensuring editorial staff complete and comply with all News Corp and ANC policies. Developing and maintaining a relationship with other news networks (Channels 7, 9, ABC, SBS and 10) to ensure coverage of all new stories and press conferences is delivered. On-call 24/7 to respond to breaking news events, rostering issues etc. Who are you?
