Access the
Managing Police Station administration, Government Agencies inquiries, and processing of applications on behalf of Queensland Government Agency Program, you will work closely with police officers and local members of the community to meet the needs of the community. Ensuring community satisfaction and building relationships with other services.
As part of this role it is expected you will collaborate with internal stakeholders to support and align with QPS Strategic Plan and operational priorities.
Your Key Accountabilities:
The core capability requirements for this role are:
- Ensure that the lead agency's obligations with regard to service agreements are complied with and that high standards of client satisfaction are achieved.
- Provide support and ensure public enquiries about State Government services, requests for information are undertaken efficiently, and that all relevant administrative procedures are complied with, particularly those concerning the collection of monies.
- Provide timely QGAP services and ensure they are actively promoted within the community.
- Maintain records of the value and volume of services provided and produce regular written reports on services provided and other matters relating to the operation and evaluation of the project.
- Ensure that all confidential matters and monies collected are treated with due regard for confidentiality and security, and that all auditing requirements are complied with.
- Maintain and update records and complete various data retrieval support functions.
- Contribute positively within a team environment.
- Liaise with a range of police personnel, emergency service providers, and other government and non-government stakeholders.
- Exercise the powers of a Justice of the Peace (Qualified).
- Perform duties on behalf of the Queensland Police Service as the lead Department, and for other Departments and Agencies that have entered into a service agreement with the Queensland Government Agent Program, through CountryNet.
