Racf & Zos Security Expert - Contract

We are looking for an IBM Mainframe zOS, RACF and SEIM Security specialist to join a team of Security professionals and enhance their security processes, practises and data analysis capabilities. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity, where you can work in a hybrid capacity of 2 days in the office and 3 days from home. The Client also has a fair amount of flexibility around peoples personal commitments.Melbourne-based candidates are preferred and will need to be flexible to work around Australian, New Zealand and Indian overlapping time zones.Please note to apply, applicants must have the following:

• The requisite skill and experience defined below,
• Must be an Australian Permanent Resident Visa holder, and
• At least 5+ year's relevant local working experience.

Skills and experience required:

• Tertiary qualified in Computer Science or similar highly desirable,
• Minimum of 5 years experience working within a Mainframe zOS and RACF environment,
• Other key skills that are highly desirable are:
• SIEM (eg. SAS or Splunk), and
• Programming/Automation experience,

• Ability to integrate quickly into a team environment a must, and
• Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills a must to be able to deal with client requirements and demands.

• Some training may be offered for good zOS and RACF candidates who don't meet all key criteria.

• Daily rate will very much depend on skills and experience.
