Mainframe Security Expert

We have a brand new role for a Mainframe Security Expert on a contract basis in Melbourne.
As a Mainframe Expert you will support audit management systems and reporting to technical security support to administrators and infrastructure sections.
Daily Responsibilities:

• zIDM (SAMS/390) development, maintenance, and support.

• Interfacing security and authentication mechanisms between Mainframes, Unix, and IDM systems, such as LDAP interface to IDVault, MFA registration, OMVS synchronisation and PassTicket Service technologies.

• Software design and development in Assembler and NCL.

• Troubleshooting and problem solving with technical knowledge of Net/Master, z/OS, TCP/IP, APPC, MQ Series, DB2, ACF2 and RACF.

• CRAM Support Assistance in troubleshooting. RFQDM24-005 6

• System modifications and development of ad-hoc tools in Assembler.

• Detailed technical knowledge of z/OS operating system, RACF and ACF2 security software and proficiency in Assembler, REXX, CLIST, JCL and various IBM, CA and third-party utilities, such as ICETOOL and zSecure.

• Development and generation of Audit Reports for ANAO and internal usage.

• Forwarding Mainframe Security events to the SIEM and developing Use Cases for Cyber to implement.

• Configuration of Multi Factor Authentication using RSA SecurID for agency mainframes.

• Technical IT Security Advice to IAAO Section for IT Security Administration and to Mainframe Systems Section for infrastructure support.

You will have good technical knowledge with Z/OS and associated IOS.
Due to the nature of this contract we do require candidates to have an Australian Citizenship and hold Negative Vetting Level 1 to be considered for the position.
