MNCCI operates a one district model over 2 sites - Coffs Harbour and Port Macquarie. Each site has 2 Elekta linacs, a superficial machine and a Siemens CT scanners. The successful applicant will be located at our Coffs Harbour site. - Appropriate Bachelor Degree and eligible for general registration with the Medical Radiation Practice Board of Australia as a Radiation Therapist.
- Demonstrated experience with dual energy linear accelerators with multi-leaf collimation, electronic verification imaging, and experience with CT interfacing 3D treatment planning systems.
- Demonstrated effective communication and interpersonal skills with patients, visitors and other stakeholders
- Demonstrated self-motivation and initiative to work successfully in small teams.
- Demonstrated ability to cope with dynamic and changing work practises.
- Demonstrate understanding of current Radiation Therapy, QA and radiation safety principles and practices and identify future developments in the profession.
