About the role
At the North Coast Cancer Institute, we pride ourselves on providing high quality patient care. We are currently seeking Radiation Therapists to join our team at Tweed Valley Hospital on a temporary basis, with flexible/ remote options available also.
As a Radiation Therapist based in our brand-new Tweed Valley Hospital, you’ll experience a collaborative and nurturing environment with regular rotations through CT, Planning, and Treatment, while receiving support and guidance from a dedicated Radiation Therapist Educator and expert Senior Radiation Therapists. Our modern services include IMRT/VMAT, comprehensive stereotactic services, SGRT (including tattoo-less techniques), 4DCT, and image-guided treatment protocols, fostering opportunities for professional growth and service improvement through projects and research initiatives.
Our team operate within a virtual planning environment that leverages best practices and the collective experience of our team from across our local health network. Our dynamic approach ensures there is a balanced distribution of workload across our sites, in line with skill mix and development needs of our team.
Full time and part time employment opportunities are available. Enjoy flexible roster options tailored to your needs, including working full-time hours condensed into a 4-day week or a 9-day fortnight, allowing for a fulfilling work-life balance. This temporary contract will be for an initial period of 8-months, with the potential for extension.
