As the ‘face of the company’ to clients and passengers, this role forms part of the Ground Handling Team responsible for the delivery of Ground Handling Services, whilst maintaining the safety and security of the ramp at all times. Key Responsibilities: Ramp Officer Duties:
Perform Ramp functions including marshalling aircraft on the ramp (e.g. directing, assisting and parking all arriving, departing and towed aircraft) Transfer cargo (including luggage) to other gates, other airlines and to passengers Responsible for courteous, prompt, accurate and careful handling of customer baggage, airfreight and company material; continuous lifting, loading/unloading, sorting and transfer of baggage, freight and company material. Ensure compliance with all Uniform & PPE requirements Management of GSE Ensure the safe and secure operation of all equipment. Test all relevant equipment for serviceability before commencement of every shift.
