Due to the constant expansion of our Defence division, Downer has an opportunity for a Range Operator in Greenbank. The purpose of the Range Operator is the provision of Range and Training Area Management (TARM) services within Base Service Area or Base in the region to the satisfaction of the requirements of the Defence EMOS Contract. The Training Area and Range Operator is a member of the TARM Team tasked with providing safe and efficient services in a technically complex and high requirements safety environment.

ABOUT YOU

• Suitability for Defence Security Clearance (Australian citizenship mandatory)
• Must have a Australian Drivers Licence
• Must have a workplace first aid qualification to National Certificate Level 2 standard
• Be capable of attaining Fire Qualifications in Wildfire Response and Suppression
• Be capable of attaining current operator licences for all Range vehicles and equipment
• High level of understanding and commitment to Zero Harm in the Workplace
• Have resilience, a 'can-do' attitude and be adaptable
