Form of workJoin the Bis Industries team as a skilled and experienced Container Reach Stacker/Forklift Operator at our Bulk Cargo Terminal in Kwinana. We are seeking individuals with a strong commitment and enthusiasm to contribute to our dynamic workforce. This permanent position with BIS Industries operates on a 6-day roster, 9 hours per day (Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm), with a half day on either Saturday or Sunday.
As a key member of our team, you will primarily operate Reach Stackers and forklifts on-site, with the possibility of operating other equipment such as HC/MC Class vehicles based on your qualifications and experience.
Requirements for the role:
- Current High-Risk LF ticket with prior experience in operating and unloading bulk container goods.
- Valid C Driver License (HC/MC Class - Highly Desirable).
- Current MSIC (Maritime Security Industry Card) or the ability to obtain one.
- RII for Loader Operations with previous experience operating WA500s or larger loading material into trucks (Highly Desirable).
- Loading and unloading containers using DCH Container Forklift from trucks, trailers, and railcars.
- Stacking containers in designated storage areas within the facility.
- Operation of HC/MC Class vehicles (if licensed).
- WA 500 Loaders reloading/transferring bulk product into bags for road transport (if licensed).
- Demonstrated commitment to our goal of Zero Harm for our people and equipment.
- Adherence to all site safety standards and requirements.
- Completion of pre-starts, care & maintenance of mobile plant.
