Reach Stacker Operator

PLI (Powerlift Industries) is a Karratha, Pilbara based leading service provider in the Mining and Resource industries, an expanding business.

We require experienced Reach Stacker Operators local to Karratha and the surrounding areas to join our team on a permanent basis at Qube Dampier.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Position: Reach Stacker Operator

Location: Dampier Ports

Work Cycle: Monday - Friday, minimum 50 hours per week with option to work overtime.

This is a local position and candidates will need to reside in Karratha, Dampier or surrounding areas.

DUTIES:

• Efficient operation of Reach Stacker operations
• Load and unload trucks as instructed and as per daily operating procedures
• Reposition container/s within the terminal as required
• Keeping the yards tidy and systematic
• Stack containers as per safe working instructions
• Complete all necessary associated documentation
• Maintain care of vehicles / plant under your care
• Ensure compliance with all safety, fatigue, heavy vehicle operating guide lines, loading requirements, axle weights, adhering to vehicle specific permits

ABOUT YOU:

• Minimum of 3 years experience (mandatory)
• Excellent attitude to safety
• Flexible attitude to work within all our crews and to assist with other duties outside your scope
• Able to Work Autonomously as well in a team
• Able to follow instructions and show initiative
• Safety and process-focused, and willing to input and continually improve the process

REQUIREMENTS:

• Proof of Right to work in Australia (mandatory)
• Current and Valid Australian Drivers Licence (HR)
• High Risk Work Licence, LF / CN / RS tickets (mandatory)
• Working at Heights, EWP ticket (highly desirable)
• MSIC (mandatory)
• PPA inducted (desirable)
• White Card (mandatory)
• Excellent attitude to safety
• Flexible attitude to work within all our crews and to assist with other duties outside your scope
• Successful applicant is required to pass a pre-employment medical and random drug and alcohol testing
