Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Container Reach Stack Operator within our Intermodal division on afternoon shift. Competitive hourly rate based on experience, afternoon shift penalties, regular overtime available.

Reporting to the Intermodal Manager, this position includes the following responsibilities: 

• Loading and unloading of containers from trucks, trains and temporary storage
• Great team work skills in a environment that can have competing priorities 
• Perform all duties as per SCT policies and procedures, and legislation as applicable 
• Work in a safe manner with a proactive approach to safety
• Conduct themselves in a manner that ensures SCT is recognised as safe, reliable and a quality supplier of related services
• Flexibility to rostered times to accommodate train schedules 
• Report all Incidents/Hazards to immediate Supervisor and into the reporting systems
• Participate in Risk Assessments, Inspections and Operational meetings as required
