We are now looking for a permanent Reception Team Leader to join our amazing team of receptionists, vets, and nurses.
Located on the beautiful Sunshine Coast, Nicklin Way Veterinary Surgery is only 400m from the beach. We are independently owned, have a purpose-built facility and have heavily invested in top of the range equipment to diagnose and treat small animals.
To complement our equipment, we have the best nursing, reception, and veterinary team on the Sunshine Coast. We love to have fun at work and we live by our values of communication, professionalism, commitment, compassion and integrity.
Leading a high-performing veterinary Reception Team is both rewarding and challenging. This role requires:

A qualification in vet nursing is essential as the role involves ordering and handling scheduled medicines. Please do not apply if you do not have a Certificate IV Veterinary Nursing or equivalent.
Previous experience working as a vet receptionist and or Team Leadership in a veterinary setting is an advantage.

This position is completely committed to the Reception Team and will generally not involve any nursing tasks. It is essential that the successful applicant is ready to dedicate their career to this fast-paced environment and lead our Reception Team to deliver the amazing customer experience we are renowned for.
The successful applicant will need to be able to work on a flexible roster covering varying shifts from 7:30am to 7pm weekdays. The occasional weekend shift may be required. The surgery is open 7 days a week, closed most public holidays and there is no after-hours work.
