About the role
You have an essential role in the business; reception support which helps to keep the wheels turning, and therapy sessions to run as smoothly as possible. Therefore, a high level of organisation, initiative, multi-tasking and excellent interpersonal skills are essential in this role.
Duties include all aspects of office administration under supervision of our Exec Assistant, including organising the diary, liaising with third parties such as GP's, schools, taking phone calls and answering queries, making appointments, management of invoicing and payments, general administrative support for the psychologists, organising our team days and functions.
Ensuring that our ‘second home’ is neat and tidy and taking pride in our space is also extremely important, as it helps our clients to feel comfortable and relaxed during their challenging times.
The role will be offered on either a casual or permanent part time basis at the Health Professionals and Support Services (HPOS) Award from Level 3 - 5 depending on experience. 15-20 hours per week negotiable.
Skills and experience
- Admin experience in the medical/allied health field essential. Please note - this is non-negotiable!
- Excellent Computer skills are essential with experience with a clinical software platform.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to maintain a calm, sensitive, pleasant and respectful manner when helping a diverse range of individuals.
- Professional presentation.
- Ability to use initiative and desire to act in the best interest of our clients, psychologists and the business.
- Highly organised and proactive
- Strong sense of pride in your work
- Ability to work as part of a team as well as take initiative
A current National Police Clearance Check is required.
