AddressBlackwood Clinic is a large GP practice with two different sites both located in Blackwood. We have 11 GP's and large team of nurses and reception staff.
We are currently looking for a receptionist to join our busy team 3- 4 days per week. It is essential that the successful candidate can work between the hours of 7.30am & 6pm on a rotating roster.
Essential skills required for the position:
- Excellent communication skills
- Warm and friendly manner
- Able to work in a busy environment
- Organised and self motivated.
- Able to work as part of team.
- Understand the importance of confidentiality.
Tasks and responsibilities
- Answering phones
- Greeting our patients and ensuring their needs are met.
- Making appointments.
- Processing patient payments and medicare claims.
- General office duties such as emailing, faxing, scanning
- Banking, eftpos and cash handling.
