AddressGearing Up Psychology is opening up a psychology clinic in the beautiful town of Lorn, NSW. We provide psychological assessment and treatment to help cater to our patient's mental health needs.
We are seeking a casual receptionist to support our growing team (approx 2 - 3 days per week). With a start date estimated to be in August - September 2024.
Tasks and responsibilities
- Greeting participants / patients and/or their families / support person(s)
- Managing incoming telephone calls / fax and making outgoing telephone calls / fax
- Maintaining confidentiality while managing patient records
- Handling appointment scheduling, changes, cancellations and billing using Halaxy software and HICAPS for billing.
- Being professional and polite in all communications to doctors, allied health professionals and government agencies.
- Undertaking housekeeping of reception area and clinic rooms
Required skills:
- Strong communication skills (open, warm, polite communication skills)
- Proficient use of technology (computers, faxes, phones and relevant software programs such as Microsoft office)
- Exhibit initiative, open to learning and ability to work independently.
- Reliable and punctual with dedicated professionalism to job and duties.
- Flexible to cover sick leave or annual leave
Qualifications / Experience
- No qualifications required
- Medical reception experience desirable but not essential
- Experience in working within the NDIS or other health or community justice based systems desirable but not essential
