Swansea Channel Doctors are looking for a reliable and professional Medical Receptionist to join us on a casual basis. Experience is preferred, but not essential. Immediate start.
Responsibilities involved but are not limited to:
- Providing our patients with the highest quality customer service
- Answering incoming calls
- Scheduling appointments
- Patient enquires.
- Billing and receipting
- Data entry
- liaising with GPs and other health professionals
Ideally our successful applicant will meet the following criteria:
- Strong computer skills
- Previous receptionist experience
- A passion for outstanding customer and patient services
- Empathetic and enthusiastic personality
- The ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- Fantastic work ethic with high attention to detail
- Professional manner and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to learn.
- Best Practice software experience will be highly regarded.
- Knowledge of MBS and Workcover billings highly regarded.
Our ideal candidate would be available to work 1-2 days per week between 8am-6pm, with the flexibility to cover short notice sick leave and periods of annual leave.
