Professionals Real Estate Forster Tuncurry are a progressive and energetic team of professionals who offer expert services in both residential and commercial sales and property management. Due to our continued growth, Professionals Forster Tuncurry is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Administration Assistant / Receptionist to join our award-winning team and to grow your career in Real Estate. This is a full-time position that will include a rotating Saturday roster.

The Role…
Our ideal candidate will be a hard-working individual. You will have the ability to prioritise and multi-task, while always making sure to put the client first. We are looking for someone who can work both autonomously and as part of a team and is willing to take initiative and displays attention to detail.

  • As the first point of contact for most clients, endeavour to answer telephone enquiries in an efficient, friendly and professional manner
  • Provide internal staff with professional administrative support including taking accurate and properly detailed messages 
  • Handle rental receipts from tenants
  • Compile and transact the daily banking
  • Collect and distribute daily mail
  • Provide assistance in the administration and maintenance of company records
  • Ensure the front office and reception is clean and tidy at all times
  • Provide administrative and secretarial support to the sales and property management teams
  • General office Duties
  • Assist with enquiries for rental premises
  • To maintain a high professional and ethical profile in accordance with industry and company standards

    Whilst previous real estate experience is a distinct advantage, it's not essential. We are more interested in motivated, eager and passionate individuals. We can teach you the skills if you bring the right attitude!

To succeed in this role, you'll have...

  • A real estate certificate of registration or license (or be willing to obtain one ASAP);
  • Previous real estate experience (highly desired but not essential);
  • Possess a strong work ethic and positive outlook;
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure;
  • High-level problem-solving skills;
  • High-level personal presentation;
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills;
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritise and manage time effectively;
  • Professional phone manner;
  • Data entry experience;
  • Technically proficient and comfortable with new technologies;
  • Strong computer skill set;
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks;
  • A team player;
  • Punctual; and
  • Forward thinking.
