About the role
You will be the face of our business, as the first point of contact for many of our visiting clients, managing calls at reception and greeting all those that visit the office. In addition, you will provide legal administration support to our busy solicitors and conveyancing business. This role gives you variety, with part of the week on reception balanced with legal administration responsibilities.
As our Legal Administration Assistant, you will:
- Manage reception, taking and directing calls and greeting all clients who visit our office!
- Booking client appointments
- Opening new client files
- Drafting legal correspondence and sending engagement letters
- Diary management
- And any ad hoc administration duties to support our Solicitors and Conveyancing business.
This is a great role for someone looking to build their career gaining exposure to many different facets of law and conveyancing.
This role is a Part time (minimum 3 days) permanent opportunity based in our Dingley Village office working Monday – Wednesday 9am – 5pm.
Full time Monday - Friday is an option.
About You
You are a motivated, proactive, and confident person who is eager to learn. You thrive on interacting with lots of different people, building relationships and leaving lasting positive client experiences to all that you meet. In addition, you will have:
- Previous experience in a law or an accounting practice working in a similar role as a receptionist or admin is highly desirable.
- Strong customer service experience
- Friendly phone manner, with outstanding communication skills both verbal and written.
- Highly organised with high attention to detail and the ability to prioritise tasks.
- Experience with Outlook and Microsoft office is essential, and exposure to Smokeball and Tri Convey highly regarded.
