Receptionist/dental assistant

Westridge Dental is a privately owned family dental practice, providing all aspects of general dentistry. Westridge Dental has provided the local community with professional dental services for over 30 years in a friendly and relaxed environment. We pride ourselves in our quality dental care and are committed to our patients’ oral health and well-being. The practice has a lovely team and an enjoyable environment for all staff members.

We are looking for a welcoming and friendly Receptionist/dental assistant to join our team for 3 to 4 days a week. Experience is preferred, but we are happy to provide in-house training for the right candidate.

Duties.

The role will cover both front office (reception) and chairside assisting duties.

• Being the friendly first point of contact for patients
• Scheduling appointments and processing payments using Exact dental software
• Maintaining workspaces in a tidy and organised manner
• Managing patient queries
• Stocking of surgery
• Instrument sterilisation
• Keeping surgery clean
• Ability to multi-task and follow instructions

Skills & Experience

• Experience preferred, but not essential. 
• Good phone manner
• Positive attitude and good work ethics
• Collaborative team player with sound interpersonal skills

About The Role

• Immediate start, or at your earliest convenience
• Initially 3 days a week, possibly expanding to 4
• Potential for above-award wages, subject to review, based on experience.
• Training provided; must be a quick learner
• Computer skills required
