ABOUT THE ROLE
Reporting to the Manager Infrastructure, this position provides coordination and delivery of Operational and Capital Recoverable Works as they relate to the Engineering & Infrastructure Directorate. The Recoverable Works Coordinator will also ensure projects are delivered within budget and scheduled timeframes, specifically relating to Recoverable Works including but not restricted to: Transport Infrastructure Development Scheme, Roads to Recovery and other grant funded programs.
ABOUT YOU
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills;
- Demonstrated experience in developing, monitoring and managing budgets relevant to the work area;
- Demonstrated experience in management of large programs under the Natural Disaster Relief and Recovery Arrangements;
- Comprehensive understanding of relevant legislation;
- Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering;
- Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ) Certification or ability to obtain (Desirable);
- Blue/White Card;
- Current C Class Open Australian Drivers Licence.
- Very attractive remuneration package, inclusive of housing and limited private-use vehicle
- 5 weeks annual leave @ 17.5% loading
- Up to 13.5% super in accordance with IRC’s Certified Agreement
- A five (5) year fixed-term full-time contract
