About the role:
This isn't your average 9-to-5 gig; this is a Full-Time opportunity based in our lively Canberra Office. As our Recruitment Advisor, you'll be the driving force behind our talent acquisition efforts in the ACT and Southern NSW regions. Reporting directly to the Human Resources Manager, you'll be the go-to guru for all things recruitment-related, collaborating closely with Hiring Managers to ensure we bring the best and brightest on board.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with Hiring Managers to navigate the exciting journey of end-to-end recruitment processes.
- Get creative and craft engaging job advertisements that grab attention across various platforms.
- Conduct thorough candidate screenings and interviews to uncover hidden gems.
- Team up with HR Partners on employee relations matters because teamwork makes the dream work!
- Ensure a smooth onboarding process for our new recruits, setting them up for success from day one.
- Shine bright by contributing to continuous improvement in HR processes.
Key Selection Criteria:
To truly thrive in this role, you'll need to bring:
- Tertiary qualifications in human resources, business administration, or a related field (Bonus points if you bring your graduation cap!).
- HR and/or Recruitment experience in a similar role because experience is the name of the game.
- A proactive approach to hiring and recruitment; think of yourself as our talent scout extraordinaire!
- Strong attention to detail and analytical abilities – nothing gets past your eagle eyes!
- Effective organisational skills and a professional and efficient work approach.
- Strong computer skills and experience with cloud-based software – because we're all about that tech-savvy life!
- Exceptional presentation and communication skills – you're the smooth talker who can charm anyone.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively – after all, teamwork makes the dream work!
- Knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal culture and values – because diversity makes us stronger.

Requirements:

- Valid and current Driver’s Licence
- Working with Vulnerable People Card
- NDIS Worker Check (for NDIS risk-assessed roles)
